Sewing Classes

(I just realized I spelled "cushion" wrong on the flier, above. Genius. Remember I got my schoolin' from the back woods of Wyomin'!)

After receiving several requests, asking me to teach some sewing classes, I decided to do it!

I have been sewing for 25 years, ever since my mom forced me to taking summer sewing lessons at the age of 13! Who would have thunk it, that I would be leaping into this new adventure of teaching sewing lessons! Mrs. Johnstone would be so proud!

The sewing classes will vary.

Beginning Sewing: This class will involve the basics (how to thread your machine, care of your sewing machine, following a pattern, terminology, alterations) You can pick an easy project and sew it together!

Home Decor: In this class, I will teach you how to sew your own curtains, throw pillows, cushion covers, etc.!

Children's Apparel: I will teach you how to sew cute baby shoes, some boutique-style clothing, and appliques!

Holiday, Gifts, and Crafts: This class will involve learning how to sew anything from baby blankets, diaper clutches, to a card table, fort for your children!

The first class (Home Decor) will begin on June 9th, 7:00 pm at my home!

The classes will be small and only 4 spots will be available per class! Give me a call, leave a comment, or email me, if you would like to sign up for the first class.

Once you are signed up, I will provide you with further details!

I'm looking forward to it!

  1. Jen! I would LOVE to take your class! I really want to learn more things about sewing! I know the basics, but give me something fancy and I'll find a way to mess it up :)

Tell me what you think... only if it compliments me and my, sometimes humorous, sometimes weird, sometimes creative, post! No meanies allowed!
