Park City or Bust! Re-cap

Normally I would have just given up on posting about our little trip to Park City, because I'm so behind on blogging, but I got some good pictures and I must share. Because I care. And it wouldn't be fare... to you, my friends. Okay, okay I'll shut up. I'm a dork.

Thanks to my lovely sister-in-law Kate, she got us a great deal on hotel rooms in Park City, which meant alpine slide, sky coaster, and shopping baby! We did this last year also, but I was 8 months pregnant and was walking like a walrus. This year it's Kate's turn to be pregnant. I enjoyed this years trip more, due to me not having hot flashes and being pregnant.
Our manly men took all of the kids, Conner included, and let us girls shop. And oh did we shop! I managed to get something for everyone in the fam-damily and I got a new purse... that I love, and it was 70% off, plus I had a coupon for an extra 10% off, which made it 80% off, and it has easy access to all of the necessary compartments! It is lovely. I am smiling just thinking about it.

The lovely establishment that we stayed at had an indoor pool that we were thoroughly enjoying.... until we were invaded. Dun dun dun!

Can you tell Conner was lovin' this?

Check out the hubbin's farmer tan...and his "moobs" (man boobs). What a handsome devil! Is it getting hot in here?

Here's another handsome little devil, and I do mean little devil! This is my cute nephew, Ty, who likes to ham it up for the camera, has the most mischievous smile, and likes to do drive by boogerings. Gotta love this kid!

Here's a kid with an attitude. Cody's looking quite sporty with his attitude. You know what he's saying... "What?"

Notice the "invasion" of young, perky, teenage girls, belonging to a dance team, in the background?

These young ladies made the husbands a little nervous. They kept jogging to and fro, causing unnecessary jiggling. Girls! No running!

Family fun!

Uncle Larry was having fun pushing Conner around the pool. He was also trying hard to not look to the left of the pool.
"Eyes on me, hubbin! Eyes on me!"

When this picture was taken, one of the kids threw a water toy near the young perky teenage dancers, and the hubbin feared for his safety as he was going to retrieve the toy. He cautiously approached the toy, then quickly snatched it, before the perky bikini clad teens could make eye contact. Nice job hubbin!

Awwww! What a cute family!

It was a fun trip and was also so nice to get away for a couple of days! Thanks again Larry and Kate!

  2. What fun! You do have a very nice looking family, Jen. How dare those girls with jiggly parts come and invade family pool time! The nerve!

  3. Your family is sooooo cute!!
Very handsome hubbin... and super duper cute little boys!!

And those girls with jiggly parts?? I bet they are the good jiggly, not the 55 year old jiggly, so my point is, you have a good sense of humor. I on the other hand, despise girls who feel comfortable in their swimsuites, or in their skin for that fact.

  5. "jiggly parts" HA, HA!! You're funny!!
What a sweet picture of all 4 of you together. I miss Park City (itself). I use to live there for about 7 years of my life. But I am glad I don't anymore. It became snob city as I grew older and understood why I was always the target of my house getting TP'd. I wasn't in the cool clique's of the town.

  7. Love the family picture! Isn't it great when you can ALL be in the same picture?!?! Those dang bikini-girls. Don't they know that they aren't welcome during family swim-time? That was so great of the husbands to take the kids so you girls could go shopping!

  8. I did not realize how considerate my brothers could be!!! Maybe they are just smart cuz it got them out of shopping!!! Neither have ever liked to shop that I can remember but then I don't know them all that well at all. I've been gone for so long......It's almost like I don't belong any more!! oh well what do you do???? Lovely families you both have cute kids!!! even the drive by boogerer!!!! LOL
